<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new rolling bearing for a steel rolling mill capable of having excellent water resistance and maintaining a favorable bearing function for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: In a rolling bearing 100 for a steel rolling mill, a plurality of rolling bodies 30 are rollingly arranged between an inner ring 10 and outer ring 20, and lubricating grease G is filled therein. The grease G is produced by blending three kinds of rust-preventive agents, a carboxylic acid base rust-preventive additive, i.e., a carboxylate base rust-preventive additive and an amine base rust-preventive additive, with base oil produced of at least one of mineral oil and synthetic oil. The rust-preventive agents are added so that the total amount of addition thereof with respect to the total amount of grease is 0.2-8 mass%. Thus, even if water is mixed, exfoliation caused by hydrogen generated from water and corrosion caused by water can be suppressed effectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
