<p>PURPOSE: An acetabular cup system for an artificial hip joint is provided to prevent the secession and abrasion of an insert which is inserted to the acetabular cup through mutual combination which is protruded from a depression insert and the insert. CONSTITUTION: An acetabular cup system for an artificial hip joint is comprised of an acetabular cup(10) and an insert(30). The acetabular cup includes a combining/storing unit(110) which is arranged in the contact side with the insert. The combining/storing unit is fixed to prevent the separation of the insert. The combining/storing unit includes a tapered locking storing unit having a certain slope. The insert includes a combination unit on the contact outside of the acetabular cup.</p> |
