<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for leaching lithium, in which lithium can continuously be leached from a substance containing lithium with a small amount of water used, and to provide a method for recovering lithium. <P>SOLUTION: The method for leaching lithium includes transferring lithium ions to the outside of a system so that the concentration of lithium ions in lithium-leached solution in which the lithium is leached is not saturated, when lithium is leached from the substance containing lithium with water. Preferred is an embodiment in which, when a lithium leaching tank which has an anode chamber containing an anode, a cathode chamber containing a cathode, and a membrane which allows lithium ions to pass therethrough and resides between the anode chamber and the cathode chamber is used to leach lithium from the substance containing lithium with water in the vicinity of the anode of the anode chamber, current is passed between the anode and the cathode to transfer lithium ions from the anode chamber to the cathode chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
