PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative melamine sheet which prevents oil fouling such as fingerprints from standing out without making the surface slippery, and a method for producing the decorative melamine sheet which can efficiently produce the decorative melamine sheet. SOLUTION: In the decorative melamine sheet 10, an uneven surface 15 based on silica particles having an average particle size of 0.1-2μm is formed on the surface, and a fine rough surface layer 14 containing fine silica particles of 1-60 nm average particle size is formed on the uneven surface 15. The thickness of the fine rough surface layer 14 is preferably 1-10μm. The decorative melamine sheet 10 is produced by a transfer method using a transfer film. The transfer film is obtained by forming a coating layer by applying a coating liquid containing fine silica particles 1-60 nm in an average particle size in a binder on a rough surface film having the uneven surface 15 based on the silica particles having an average particle size of 0.1-2μm on the surface.
