PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace a telephone directory associated with identification information unique to a cellular phone by a telephone directory corresponding to identification information unique to a new subsequent cellular phone, which is registered, in a hands-free device for an on-board cellular phone. SOLUTION: A telephone directory as a replacement registration object is retrieved, when a cellular phone is connected to a hands-free device for a cellular phone and replacement registration of a telephone directory corresponding to the cellular phone is directed through a user input apparatus (S351). When a subsequent cellular phone is connected in place of the cellular phone (S353, S355), identification information unique to the subsequent cellular phone is read (S357). The identification information of the cellular phone corresponding to the telephone directory as the replacement registration object is changed to the identification information which is unique to the subsequent cellular phone, and which is then registered (S359).
