PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer circuit which emits low noise, can start at a high speed equal to or lower than 100 ns, holds an IF output electric potential at a rest and can perform intermittent operation of about 1/10 of normal operation. SOLUTION: When first transistors MN4-MN10 and second transistors MP1 and MP2 are set into an operating state, third switches TG9 and TG10 are turned off and fourth switches TG3 and TG4 are set to on. When the first and second transistors are set into a dormant state, the third switches are turned on and the fourth switches are set to off. When they transition from a dormant state into an operating state, the first switches TG7 and TG8, the second switch TG5 and the fourth switches are set into an operating state with the third switches kept on.
