PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of updating software with a memory usage reduced. SOLUTION: A mobile phone 1 includes: a radio part 32 receiving updated data for updating a program; a NAND part 35 individually storing a plurality of programs and having a plurality of program storing region including unused region; and an MPU 30 storing the updated data to any of the unused region, updating any of the plurality of programs on the basis of the updated data, and erasing the updated data used for the update.
