PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional gradation voltage generation circuit, wherein the circuit cannot generate a gradation voltage having optimal characteristics meeting a request. SOLUTION: A gradation voltage generation circuit includes a reference gradation voltage generation circuit for generating a plurality of reference gradation voltages of different potentials, and a resistance part 106 for generating an interpolation gradation voltage to interpolate a potential between the reference gradation voltages. In the resistance part 106, a reference gradation voltage is applied to a reference gradation voltage application node among a plurality of nodes interconnected via a signal path having a resistance component. The resistance part 106 generates a potential of an interpolation gradation voltage generation node among the plurality of nodes as an interpolation gradation voltage. Then, each reference gradation voltage application node and the interpolation gradation voltage generation node are connected via different signal paths, respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
