The invention relates to an exhaust line for an internal combustion engine including: a main channel (1) extending along a longitudinal axis (XX) and moving the exhaust gases produced by the internal combustion engine to a catalyst (3) for selectively reducing nitrogen oxides; a means for injecting a reducing agent into the main channel (1), said means being placed in the exhaust gas flow direction and upstream from the catalyst (3); and a static mixer placed between the injection means and the catalyst (3). Said exhaust line is characterized in that the static mixer includes a ceramic foam (8) that is placed in the main channel (1) between the injection means and the selective reduction catalyst (3). The invention also relates to an internal combustion engine that includes an exhaust line of the invention.
