PURPOSE: An uplink interference control method of wireless mobile communication system and apparatus thereof are provided to maintain interference size of uplink adjacent cells under standard size by determining uplink terminal transmission power in an LTE(Long Term Evolution) system. CONSTITUTION: An RoT(Rise over Thermal) value of adjacent cells is received. The RoT value of adjacent cells is renewed by comparing with the RoT value of previous adjacent cells(101). An index of user equipment is established to zero(103). An adjacent cell list of each terminal is renewed using downlink path loss value reported from each terminal(105). Each terminal estimates interference size transmitting to the adjacent cells. Difference of interference size is calculated(107).
