PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron powder mixture which adequately supplies a ferrous ion into water, promotes the regeneration of a seaweed bed and can improve the water quality environment. SOLUTION: The iron powder mixture includes an iron powder, iron oxide, carbon, and an organic acid which forms a chelate with a bivalent ferrous ion; and is used for supplying the ferrous ion into the water.
