PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sensor cable to be connected to a permanently provided rope tension measuring device from being wound around the main rope. SOLUTION: A mounting structure of an elevator rope tension measuring device includes a first sensor cable 7a extending from the rope tension measuring device 6 while the rope tension measuring device 6 can be permanently mounted on a main rope 5, an inner cylindrical bracket 8a which follows the turn and the vertical movement of the main rope 5 while the first sensor cable 7a is mounted thereon, and a first signal contact piece 10a to be connected to the first sensor cable 7a is provided thereon, an outer cylindrical bracket 8b in which the inner cylindrical bracket 8a is accommodated, and a second signal contact piece 10b in contact with the first signal contact piece 10a of the inner cylindrical bracket 8a is provided, and a second sensor cable 7b extending from the second signal contact piece 10b, and mounted on the outer cylindrical bracket 8b.
