The system (1) has a fan (13) sucking surrounding air at a suction side and discharging the air to the environment at a discharge side over a defined flow path. A fragrance storage is integrated in the flow path at the discharge side and is filled with liquid fragrance (15), so that the fragrance is discharged to the environment at the discharge side. The fragrance storage is formed as a replaceable cartridge (16) and is provided with liquid tight and gas permeable, gas inlet and gas exhaust apertures (20, 24). A heating element is arranged at a receiver of the storage to heat the fragrance.
