The present invention relates to an alarm service method and system of a membership application using a mobile device and a program recording medium thereof. The invention: authenticates whether the user is a member of a rental shop for articles such as books or videos or the like, by using a membership application provided in a mobile device; and generates an alarm that notifies the due date of a rental article on the mobile device, so that the rental shop can prevent the waste of unnecessary manpower and an increase of communication charges caused by the notification of the due date of the rental article and that the member who has rented the article can save additional rental cost by easily checking the due date.
