<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner leakage due to erroneous opening of a shutter, even when only one of two cartridges is loaded to an apparatus body. <P>SOLUTION: The first cartridge (developing cartridge DC) includes a first operating portion (first rotating member R1) that operates together with the first shutter S1. The second cartridge (developer cartridge 7) includes a second operating portion (second rotating member R2) that operates together with the second shutter S2. The first cartridge is provided with a third operating portion (third rotating member R3) that is disposed away from the first operating portion.
