<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent false detection in a keyboard device having a flat input operation face positioned on the top surface. <P>SOLUTION: An electrostatic shield layer 26 including a key arrangement area and an electrostatic shield area arranged between a touch panel 2 and a cover panel 7 prevents a default state from being sensed by the touch panel 2, where a user slightly touches the top of a keyboard with a finger . Thus, the default state can be prevented from being falsely detected as a key operation state intended by the user.
