<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glossy paper for inkjet recording which has good ink absorbing properties, a high glossy feeling as high as that of a silver salt photograph, an extremely superior scratch-resistant glossy surface, and little amount of paper powder at the time of cutting, and which can be recycled. <P>SOLUTION: The glossy paper for inkjet recording related to the present embodiment is provided with an ink receiving layer on at least one face of a substrate, and is provided with a gloss exhibiting layer formed by a cast coat method on the outermost layer of the ink receiving layer. The glossy paper for the inkjet recording is characterized in that in the ink receiving layer, at least 70 mass% of the pigment is composed of both a wet process silica and a dry process silica, or either one of them, and in the gloss exhibiting layer, at least 80 mass% of the pigment is composed of a colloidal silica, and as a binding agent, a polyvinyl alcohol is contained, and the amount of coating of the gloss exhibiting layer is 2-11 g/m<SP>2</SP>in terms of the solid content, and a ratio of (the amount of coating of the gloss exhibiting layer)/(the amount of coating of the ink receiving layer) is larger than 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
