PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a life pattern from being grasped from a power consumption pattern to protect privacy, even though the power consumption pattern is tapped.

SOLUTION: The power management system includes: a power receiving unit for receiving power from outside according to consumption of power; an energy storage unit for storing the power received by the power receiving unit; and a discharge control unit for controlling a second power amount discharged from the energy storage unit so that a first power amount received by the power receiving unit achieves a predetermined time-series pattern.
