The present invention relates to a round recliner for a car seat. A holder (110) has a plurality of spring accommodating portions (118) recessed between plural lock gear guide protrusions (113) which neighbor in the circumference direction, and an embossment (116) protruded to the outer surface of the holder is formed on the other side of each of the spring accommodating portions. The plurality of spring accommodating portions (118) is connected respectively to cam accommodating portions (114) formed inside each of the spring accommodating portions. The each of the spring accommodating portions (118) accommodates and supports a spring (140) so that one end portion (142) of the spring elastically pressurizes a cam (130) to rotate the same. The gear rim accommodating portion of the holder accommodates the gear rim of the sector gear and has the extra gap of 0.03 to 0.05 mm in the radius direction between the gear rim accommodating portion and the gear rim. Thus, the round recliner for car seat can enhance the safety thereof, reduce the weight thereof, and improve the efficiency of space utilization.
