The invention relates to wind power. The wind power machine with a counter-pressure screen comprises a reactive, radial, limited-pressure turbine situated in front of a counter-pressure screen. The turbine is in the form of a hub and twelve spokes with twenty four straight, free bearing yards attached to the ends thereof. Twelve sails are stretched across the adjacent yards of the inner and outer edges formed by the yards. A band with a constant width is attached to the ends of the yards. The counter-pressure screen consists of a counter-pressure disc with an opening in the centre, two arms, to which the disc is rigidly secured, and two brackets, to which the arms are secured. The power generator consists of a low-inertia, axial, multi-pole synchronous electric generator with external excitation. A device for controlling the external load on the generator consists of a centrifugal regulator that is kinematically connected to the turbine shaft and electrically connected to the generator. Using the invention makes it possible to achieve a higher performance factor and eliminate axial loads on the turbine shaft. |
