KNEE ASSEMBLY WITH ONE WAY BRAKE

PURPOSE: A knee assembly with one way brake is provided to prevent a user from falling down due to the knee joint bending of the knee prosthesis wearer by using the rotation of an articulatio genu. CONSTITUTION: A knee assembly with one way brake includes a brake member(300). The brake member connects an upper body(100) combined with a socket and a lower body(200) combined with a leg. The brake member is rotated around a first shaft. The lower body is limited to be rotated in one direction while using the lower body around a second shaft parallel with the first shaft. A brake member includes a brake body and a one-way clutch(330). The break body is interposed between the upper body and the lower body. The one-way clutch is inserted into the break body. The one-way clutch controls the rotation of the lower body.
