PURPOSE: A stapler is provided to prevent the unnecessary waste of staple by operating a locking unit and preventing the malfunction when stapler is not used. CONSTITUTION: A stapler comprises a receiving portion(130), a pressing portion(120), a supporting portion, and a locking unit(140). The receiving portion receives a plurality of staples. An ejecting hole(134) discharging one staple is formed in one side of the lower surface of the receiving portion. The pressing portion presses one staple saved in the receiving portion and discharges staple to the outlet. The rear of the supporting portion is coupled with the receiving portion and supporting portion through the hinge. The locking unit is installed in the outside of the receiving portion. The locking unit blocks the discharging of staple form the outlet.
