PURPOSE: A low-temperature sintering composite carrier and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the hardness of a composite carrier by applying a low-temperature sintering process. CONSTITUTION: Alginate powder is dissolved in deionized water to obtain 5 to 30 w/v% of an alginate solution. Activated carbon and zeolite are introduced into the alginate solution. The mixture undergoes a roll mixing milling process. A drop of a calcium chloride aqueous solution or a barium chloride aqueous solution is dropped in the mixture. Each drop of alginate solution is hardened to form a composite carrier in a bead shape. The composite carrier undergoes a low-temperature sintering process, and the weight and the diameter of the composite carrier are reduced. |
