PURPOSE: A method for transmitting control information in a wireless telecommunications system and an apparatus thereof are provided to efficiently transmit enlarged uplink control information by applying the uplink control information of an arbitrary model and size to physical uplink control channel format 3 which is used to transmit. CONSTITUTION: One or more control channels are detected in a plurality of component carriers. One or more data, which is directed by a down link control information loaded on the control channel, are received. ACK(Acknowledgement) and NACK(Negative Acknowledgment) information related to one or more data are transmitted through a physical uplink control channel.
