FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and is intended for estimation of function of hand grip in children in case of congenital and acquired defects. As imitators of objects of various shapes and sizes for grip estimation used are game guides and toys of various shapes and sizes taking into account child's age and their hand defect. Estimation is carried out by 4 main types of grip: terminal, lateral, shape-forming and hook-shaped, by the following formula: Fa=(G1+G2+G3+G4) ù 100/12, in %, where Fa is functional ability of hand for grips; G1 is estimation of terminal grip in points; G2 is estimation of lateral grip in points; G3 is estimation of shape-forming grip in points; G4 is estimation of hook-shaped grip in points; maximal number of points for each grip being 3 points. If Fa=70-100%, functional ability of hand for grips is estimated as high; if Fa=40-69%, as medium; if Fa=0-39%, as low. ^ EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase estimation accuracy and select rehabilitation programme. ^ 4 dwg |
