Class 20(3) A device for preventing sagging in doors comprises an arm 8 pivoted at 9 within a frame 4 secured to the door post, the frame having a horizontal abutment member 3, and a wedge 1 with a horizontal upper edge carried by the door. The arm 9 is spring biased to an upright position from the side away from the wedge and when the door is closed the lower side of the wedge engages the upper end of the arm which is contoured, on the arm pivoting, to lift the door until the upper side of the wedge abuts the member 3. The positions of the frame and wedge may be reversed. |
