PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card reader/writer and an IC card reader/writer system which can handle two kinds of IC cards without varying the configura tion and system of a host computer and terminal equipment. SOLUTION: The IC card reader/writer is equipped with a 1st communication part which communicates with the terminal equipment, a 2nd communication part which communicates with a 2nd IC card reader/writer where a 2nd IC card is set, and a reader/writer part which writes or reads data to or out of the 1st IC card; and data downloaded from the terminal device are written to the 1st IC card and the data are sent to the 2nd IC card reader/writer. |
