METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING LOW MASS OF FETUS THAT DOES NOT MATCH GESTATIONAL AGE IN MULTIPLE GESTATION

A method for diagnosing the low mass of fetus that does not match the gestational age in the multiple gestation provides for the complex examination and interview assessing the exact gestation term, measuring the abdominal circumference, analyzing fetometric parameters and dopplerographic parameters of the umbilical blood vessels. The predicted mass of fetus is calculated. The data are compared with the gestation term. When the data deviate from less than 10th percentile according to the normogram for the specified gestation term, the low mass of fetus that does not match the gestational age is considered.
