PURPOSE: A diurnal motion plate of planet and moon is provided to easily teach the time in which planet and moon rise and set according to phase through simulation. CONSTITUTION: A slit side of ellipse interlinks the celestial sphere of circular and an east point and a west point of the celestial sphere. A time scale unit in which the time is indicated according to the circumference of the celestial sphere is illustrated on a celestial sphere background plate. A cover plate is formed into the same shape with the lower part between two parts of the celestial sphere background plate which is divided into two equal parts and is fixed in order not to be rotated on the lower part of the celestial sphere background plate. A rotational plate of a transparent material is combined between the celestial sphere background plate and the cover plate in order to be possible to rotate. The design showing diurnal motion of moon or planet is painted on the rotational plate. The rotational plate and the cover plate are successively laminated on the celestial sphere background plate. The center of the rotational plate and center of the celestial sphere background plate are arranged on the same axle. |
