A runner ingate for large castings is connected to the casting by a feeder in under-runner diaphragm. On the side of runner ingate two inflexible stops or depressions are made, and between each of these projections/depressions and upper surface of the casting inflexible spacing rods are installed which are made of refractory material. In the case the position of projections/depressions on the feeder surface is in the range of 3.5-7.5 of the feeder height in the diaphragm. |
