METHOD FOR INDEXING DATA IN A DATA STORAGE DEVICE AND APPARATUSES USING THE METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for indexing data in a data storage device is provided to enable a data indexing apparatus to independently operate devices in a host. CONSTITUTION: A data storage unit creates index information about a data(S20). The data storage unit stores the index information in the storage unit. A file system module analyzes the file system of the host operating system(S30). By the analysis result the data indexing apparatus read the data(S40). An indexing module analyzes the data by the read data information(S50).
