The device has a light transmitter (13) and a light receiver (14) that are arranged at a protection strip in such a manner that the transmitter radiates light outwards as a distal light line for a flank and a frame for reflection at articles. The transmitter radiates light along the flank as a proximal, absorptive and/or diffuse light line for the flank and the frame for compulsory interference of light line on non-reflecting articles. An independent claim is also included for a method for protecting jamming of articles or human body parts between a frame and a flank. |
