PURPOSE: A Z-axis supporting device for heavy equipment is provided to minimize deformation of a spindle device and securely supporting a spindle shaft on two or more faces. CONSTITUTION: A spindle shaft(100) is supported above a base(300) by being connected with a gantry(200) which is supported on two or more faces. The gantry comprises gantry blocks which are connected to a fixing plate at a certain interval to form a transfer space in which the spindle shaft is transferred. A guide plate is installed in the fixing plate to cover and support two or more faces of the upper part of the base. The spindle shaft is supported on two or more faces in a fixing block supported between the gantry blocks and allowed to ascend and descend.
