The system has a support forming unit (10) comprising a first element placed between second and third elements. The second element, first element and a functional module (2) are connected together by a connection piece (7a). The second and first elements and the third and first elements are connected by a fusible maintenance system to maintain elements in an assembling position and to allow displacement of the elements around the respective rotation axis under an effect of a predetermined threshold effort transmitted to the system during an event of shock. The elements of the forming unit are made of sheet plate. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle including a functional module.
