<p>PURPOSE: Ammunition is provided to securely transfer the strong propulsion of a wad to a bullet and to completely separate the wad from the bullet. CONSTITUTION: Ammunition comprises an empty cartridge(10), a charge(20), a detonator(30), a bullet(50), and a wad(40). The empty cartridge has a charging chamber(12) with an opening(14). The charge is inserted into the charging chamber. The detonator is installed in the empty cartridge. The bullet has a streamlined tail part(53) to minimize air resistance. The wad is detachably installed in the streamlined tail part of the bullet and applies propulsion to the bullet.</p> |
