<p>The invention relates to a method for finishing a wood-based board (2), which has a decoration on at least one upper face and/or one lower face, comprising the following steps: (a) cleaning the upper face and the lower face of the wood-based board (2), (b) applying a first upper resin layer that contains corundum particles to the upper face and a first lower resin layer to the lower face of the wood-based board (2), (c) drying the first upper resin layer and the first lower resin layer to a residual moisture content of from 3% to 6%, (d) applying a second upper resin layer that contains cellulose to the upper face and a second lower resin layer to the lower face of the wood-based board (2), (e) drying the second upper resin layer and the second lower resin layer to a residual moisture content of from 3% to 6%, (f) applying an at least third upper resin layer that contains glass particles to the upper face and an at least third lower resin layer to the lower face of the wood-based board (2), (g) drying the third upper resin layer and the third lower resin layer to a residual moisture content of from 3% to 6%, (h) compressing the layer structure under the influence of pressure and temperature.</p> |
