<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device that can reduce loss of light effectively while reducing the unevenness of illumination caused by a plurality of light emitting elements. <P>SOLUTION: For any of control reflection areas 73-2, the amount of incident light becomes highest in the center of the control reflection area 73-2 and becomes lower gradually as the distance from the center of the control reflection area 73-2 increases, but since the reflectance is lowest in the center of the control reflection area 73-2 and becomes higher as the distance from the center of the control reflection area 73-2 increases, the amount of reflected light becomes substantially uniform for the entire control reflection areas 73-2. Furthermore, a regular reflection area 73-1 is located at the position facing the space between LEDs 76 and each regular reflection area 73-1 has a uniform reflectance, so that distribution of the amount of light impinged on the regular reflection area 73-1 of a reflector 73 from each LED 76 matches distribution of the amount of light reflected on the regular reflection area 73-1 and impinged on the reading reference position of a document. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
