摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine exhaust energy recovery device capable of setting a fuel consumption ratio of an engine relative to various loads of an engine and the engine speed to a predetermined value or less and capable of effectively using the exhaust gas discharged from the engine. <P>SOLUTION: The engine exhaust energy recovery device includes: a hybrid supercharger 3 having a turbine part 3a, to which the exhaust gas discharged from an engine 2 is supplied, a compressor part 3b for pressure-feeding the scavenging pressure to the engine 2 and a power generating motor part 3d, which generates power with drive of the turbine 3a; a bypass flow passage L2 for bypassing the exhaust gas to be supplied to the hybrid supercharger 3; an engine load detector; an engine speed detector; a scavenging pressure detector; and a control device having a data base for computing the scavenging pressure, at which the fuel consumption ratio of the engine 2 becomes a predetermined value or less, based on the values detected by each detector.
