PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sensuously intelligibly display the amount of lifting/lowering movements. SOLUTION: A body motion detector includes a body section, a display section (141) and a control section. The control section includes: a lifting/lowering detection section for detecting whether a user wearing or holding the body section lifts/lowers or not; a lifting/lowering level calculation section adapted to calculate a level of the amount of lifting/lowering movements of the user when the lifting/lowering detection section detects the user's lifting/lowering; and a display control section allowing the display section to display the level calculated by the lifting/lowering level calculation section.
