PURPOSE: A brush card assembly for an electric motor is provided to minimize an occupied space in a brush holder in order to extend a brush length longer than existed one, thereby extending replacement time and making stable contacting state with a commutator. CONSTITUTION: A brush holder(152) is arranged on a main body(151) with an interval in a columnar direction and supported by inserting a brush(153). The brush is touched with a commutator while being included in the brush holder. An elastic member(160) adheres closely with the commutator comprised in the main body when inserting the brush into the brush holder. The elastic member is comprised of a supporting part supported to the brush holder and an elastic supporting part formed between the supporting parts.
