PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric leakage detection device capable of improving detection accuracy by restraining incorrect detection. SOLUTION: The electric leakage detection device includes: a plurality of primary conductors 11a, 11b, 11c; a core 22 made of a ring-shaped magnetic material wherein the plurality of primary conductors 11a, 11b, 11c are penetrated inside; a toroidal electric leakage detection coil 13 wherein a winding wire is wound along the circumference of the core; an electric leakage detection section 10 for detecting a vector sum of output voltages based on induced voltages generated on the electric leakage detection coil 13 as an electric leakage output; balanced current detection sections 25a, 25b, 25c for detecting balanced currents wherein the vector sum thereof is zero, by detecting output on the basis of an absolute value of each current flowing in the primary conductors; a balanced state determination section 20 for determining whether or not it is a balanced state according to the output of the electric leakage detection section 10 and the outputs of the balanced current detection sections; and a control section 19 for performing inactive control on the basis of a logical product between the output at a non-balanced state output with the balanced state determination section 20 and the output of the electric leakage detection section 10.
