PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC switch device in which after-fitting and installation of a permanent magnet or the like are easy and which can constitute an AC switch having no arc-extinguishing chamber and a base or the like in common. SOLUTION: Permanent magnets 22, 22 are supported by an arc-extinguishing unit 21 which is detachable to a base and the permanent magnets 22, 22 can be installed on the base only by advancing the arc-extinguishing part 24 into a space in front of a contact part. Accordingly, after-fitting to the base is easy, and a portion other than the arc-extinguishing unit 21 can be constituted in common with the AC switch, and the switch as a whole can be achieved at low cost.
