The stand has a fan (3) for producing a gas stream (8) in a flow channel (2), and test chamber (4) formed by a longitudinal section (9) of the flow channel. The chamber is positioned in a heat exchanger, which is to be examined, such that external gas path of the exchanger from a gas stream is permeable. A dirt bringing device (5) introduces test dirt (12) into the gas stream. The flow channel is designed as an annular duct in which the gas stream is circulated. A mist bringing device (6) introduces mist (13) into the gas stream.
