<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitance type input device wherein the degree of freedom of the selection of the materials of an electrode is increased and the light transparency is secured, and electronic equipment including the same. <P>SOLUTION: This capacitance type input device of an embodiment 1 includes: a base board (1) having light transparency; and first electrodes (10a to 10c) and second electrodes (20a to 20d) formed at the back face side of the base board (1), and respectively extended to Y and X directions crossing each other.
