PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a molded body with reduced distortion by expanding a laminate of a foam layer and vacuum-forming it. SOLUTION: The laminate 1 having a first foam layer 11, a second foam layer 12 adjacent to the first foam layer, and a non-foamed layer 13 adjacent to the second foam layer is heated [process (1)], and the heated laminate is arranged in a mold 4 having a pair of cavity surfaces each having a cavity surface inside [process (2)]. Next, the mold is sealed to form a void between at least one side of the laminate and the cavity surface 410 in the mold which faces the side [process (3)]. Next, the inside of a cavity 41 is decompressed to expand the laminate [process (4)]. Next, an operation to press the expanded laminate under any one temperature condition selected from (i), (ii), (iii), and (iv) (notation abbreviated) is started, and the laminate is pressed to have a prescribed shape [process (5)].
