<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a fuel cell separator, which allows assignment of high hydrophilicity to surfaces of the fuel cell separator and long-term preservation of the hydrophilicity to maintain high power generation efficiency of a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: A molding composition containing a thermosetting resin containing epoxy resin, a hardener containing a phenolic compound and graphite particles, the equivalent ratio of the epoxy resin to the phenolic compound being in the range of 0.8-1.2 is molded.
