PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove CO<SB>2</SB>that is once absorbed at a temperature lower than a conventional lithium composite oxide, e.g. at a low energy thereof. SOLUTION: TG measurement is performed using the powder of Li<SB>6.75</SB>La<SB>3</SB>Zr<SB>1.75</SB>Nb<SB>0.25</SB>O<SB>12</SB>. The TG measurement is conducted in the conditions of an air atmosphere, a rising temperature rate of 5°C/min, a measurement temperature area of room temperature to 800°C, and the absorbed amount of CO<SB>2</SB>(concentration: about 300 ppm) in the air atmosphere and the removal temperature of CO<SB>2</SB>are measured. As a result, the Li<SB>6.75</SB>La<SB>3</SB>Zr<SB>1.75</SB>Nb<SB>0.25</SB>O<SB>12</SB>shows an increase in weight accompanying the absorption of CO<SB>2</SB>in the rising temperature step up to 360°C from room temperature, and while in a temperature area of 400°C or higher, CO<SB>2</SB>is removed as the temperature rises and the absorption amount is decreased, and it returns to the initial value at about 660°C.
