PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition stable even in the preservation at a low temperature, not only having antimicrobial activities but also having deodorizing effects, and water- or oil-repellence, further having excellent stainproof properties, convenience of not requiring frequent maintenance such as cleaning after antimicrobial treatment, and not requiring force for the cleaning because of having small friction coefficient. SOLUTION: The multifunctional surface treatment composition contains octadecyl dimethyl(3-trimethoxysilylpropyl)ammonium chloride and/or octadecyl dimethyl(3-triethoxysilylpropyl)ammonium chloride, amidoamine oxides and alcohol, and water.
