PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device capable of preventing from being re-locked in an inexpensive structure, and also provide a storage box. SOLUTION: To open a closed lid 14, a user rotates a plate 18 about a shaft member 18A by pressing the plate 18. When the plate 18 is rotated, a stop member 30 is rotated about the rotating shaft 18A, and at the same time, a hook part 36 formed at the front end of the stop member 30 is rotated. When the hook part 36 is rotated, the hook part 36 and a locking part 44 are brought into a non-locked state. The lock part 44 is brought into contact with the hook part 36 unlocked from the locked state, preventing the hook part 36 from being brought into a locked state (re-locked).
