<p>A conducting, flexible strip (1) is shaped into a U form so as to form two arms (2, 3) a small distance apart in the rest position, which are moved together in the service position. One of the arms has a circular arc (15) formed in it, this arc (15) providing a large contact surface area for the male plug inserted into the socket. The contact pressure is provided by the flexible strut when its arms are deformed by the pressure exerted by the male plug when it is pushed home into the socket. The arm which has the circular arc formed in it is connected to an element (6) onto which the electrical supply cables are clamped.</p> |
